Some of our new clients already have the content of their web site— the text, the data, and the photos and they are about ready to go when they first contact us. That’s certainly is fine, of course, and we can take it from there. But more often, new clients want some assistance from the experienced writers and editors at Wired Grafix Design with development of the content for their web sites.
Sometimes this involves rewriting the content on an existing web site to make it more precise, concise, and targeted to their audiences.
Often our clients ask us to research and write new content for their web sites.
We can also take a client's brochures, interview the owner, manager, and/or sales staff, and use the materials and interviews to develop new content for the web site.
We work with you to provide a marketable, profitable and unique company web site. This means creating a visually attractive site which meets customer needs and best communicates your marketing message.
The cost of developing your web site depends upon the size and scope of the project, the number and type of elements used, and the degree of complexity involved in developing the structure and graphical interface. Before you begin your project you need to identify your web site's objective; do you want your web page to inform, entertain, or sell?
As a complete web solutions company we offer customer-oriented web design services and more importantly, deliver them in a cost effective as well as timely manner. Whether you are a small business or a large corporate, Wired Grafix can help you achieve an online presence that delivers the very best for you and your clients. If your goal is to provide information, products, e-commerce or online services, we can ensure that the visitors to your site enjoy an informative, user-friendly and interactive experience. We utilize the skills of our designers, experienced specialist programmers, search engine registration specialists and business management experts.
Web Design Must Haves
Although the Internet has provided a wealth of opportunity for all of us, it has also created a breeding ground for scam artists. Internet users are very reluctant to make purchases online, and share their personal information.
For this reason, you must take every opportunity to convey your professionalism -- from your web site, products and services, to your customer service, each will play an important part in your success.
The moment your site loads, your visitors will have an instant reaction -- your site will either convey your professionalism or your amateurism. If your site doesn't look professional, your visitors may leave your site prematurely and never return.
If you're not confident in your ability to design a professional looking web site, it would be in your best interest to hire a professional.
Wired Grafix has over 13 years of experience in web design and hosting. The majority of our new clients come from referrals, a fact we are most proud of.
Business? Pleasure? We've got you covered. Whether you're a retail business interested in selling your products online or an artist wishing to build an online gallery, we can help you build the perfect web site. Web site design is more than just a job for us, it's what we love to do. Let us help you build your dream web site!
Web Design Process
Every web design firm uses its own process in the building of a web site for a client. We want to make this process as simple as possible. We guide you ever step of the way. Here is what a recent new client said about this process. "WOW thank you so much for doing that so fast!! Everything looks perfect! Thank you so much! You have made this process so easy and enjoyable for us, and we really appreciate it". Stephanie Kappa Delta Sorority -
Step1: NEW CLIENT / PROJECT QUESTIONNAIRE - Upon receipt of signed proposal and 50% down payment, will email you a Web Site Project Agreement in PDF format. This needs to be filled out to the best of your ability and mailed or faxed in as soon as possible.
Step 2: PHONE MEETING - After the Web Site Project Agreement is completed and received, Wired Grafix Design will call you to discuss the data you supplied on the form as well as the project in general (and any other remaining details).
Step 3: DESIGN LAYOUT - At this point, Wired Grafix Design will begin to produce 1-3 layout design mockups. Once they are completed you will be supplied an URL where you can see the design (s) live. We ask that you critique the mockup(s) layout and reply with detailed feedback on what you like and what you want changed/tweaked. We will go back and forth in this manner until you get the layout you want (most web sites require two to four layout revisions before being approved). During the design stage, we encourage the client to work on copy for the web site text to insure smooth project flow and begin gathering photos and deciding where you wish to use them.
Step 4: LAYOUT APPROVAL - Once you have the layout design you want and the "green light" is given for approval, Wired Grafix Design will then proceed to the next stage: programming. It is important to realize that once the layout is approved and Wired Grafix Design begins programming the layout, some subsequent changes to the layout design may incur extra fees (depending on the nature of the changes requested). So, it is very important that all tweaks are done in Stage 3 before layout approval is made.
Step 5: PROGRAMMING - Wired Grafix Design will take the layout design mockup and program it in to a working web site (beta web site) on a test server. You will be able to view the beta web site at various times during construction after Wired Grafix Design sends the beta web site URL to you. The rest of the web site architecture would then be built out.
Step 6: CONTENT FILL-IN - After the web site architecture is fully programmed, you should email/mail web site text, photos and any other page content (PDF's, etc.) to Wired Grafix Design for the pages on the beta web site. It is preferable that the content be supplied in Word format (for large web sites, it is often nice to have one Word document per major button/section). If you do not have MS WOrd, an email with content will also be fine. Once the content is received, Wired Grafix Design will place all of the content on each respective page. We ask that all content submitted be finalized and in its "final form" to avoid delays in getting the web site live. In addition, if copy revisions are substantial (after copy was already received and placed on the beta web site), the client may be billed for the extra work. So, it is important to submit copy in its final form.
Step 7: WEBSITE REVIEW - Once all content is in place on the beta web site, you will need to make a comprehensive review of the web site to address any last minute tweaks or changes. Please note that the final balance payment must be received before the web site goes live (Stage 8).
Step 8: FINAL APPROVAL / WEBSITE LIVE! - Upon final approval of the beta web site, Wired Grafix Design will upload the new web site to the site's web server, thus making it "live" on the web. At this point, the web site contract is completed and any additional changes or tweaks thereafter would fall into your hosting agreement with us. Most hosting plans with Wired Grafix Design do include up to 2 hours of updates at no additional charge.
What About Updates?
While other charge $60 an hour or more for updates, you receive 2 hours of updates each quarter at no additional charge with your hosting package with us. We feel we are one of the most responsive in this facet of our client services. We strive to have all requested updates posted within 24 hours of receipt from you.
