While we regret to lose a hosting customer under any circumstances we do understand that for various reasons people do decide to move on. Sadly many hosting services feel that customer service ends when a customer tells them they are moving on. We disagree with that philosophy. We believe in good customer service from start to finish.
The first thing we recommend that you do is to let us know what your intentions are. If you wish to transfer your site to another hosting company, we must approve transfers from registrars and do many things on our end to ensure your move goes smoothly and completely. This can include many things such as approval of transfers with registrars and removal of old files which prevent your new host from being seen from our system. The nature of web hosting demands that in some way we be part of the transfer process. Failing to let us know of a move or termination only jeopardizes your own web site and investment.
When you let us know also please be kind enough to let us know if your move is due to some failure to deliver services or meet expectations on our part. If there is still an opportunity to make things right we would love to know. We won't badger you to stay with us however if there is something we could do let's talk about it. It is much easier to retain your current web host than to move to a new one. We try very hard to give good customer service to our hosting clients. The best way to let us know of your intentions to move is first email us at accounts@wiredgrafix.com to inform us of your move. It is also imperative and required that we receive a signed letter indicating your intentions to move. We require this for purposes of security. There has been a sharp increase in domain hijacking and theft. For everyone's protection it is best that we get a signed letter that we can keep on file.
If your intention is to cancel hosting with us, please copy and past the below letter into your word processing software, and send us a letter.

My hosting service should be canceled effective (today's date or date in future). I understand if I wish to have a CD copy of my web site with all files, Wired Grafix will make a CD copy and mail to me for a one time fee of $50. I understand these fees must be paid prior to shipment of files to me. I understand my data will be deleted from Wired Grafix's servers in the near future. I understand if there are any more questions I should contact the hosting department at Wired Grafix to work those out. I understand that this letter only cancels hosting services and nothing else. I understand that for security reasons this letter is required to cancel hosting services with Wired Grafix.
